Codrington Sale
I appointed Donald to sell my investment property after a previous agent had failed to secure a sale. After the 1st contract failed with the buyers bank saying it had sold for too much I wanted to lower the price but Donald was adamant that the price was right, a week later we got another offer at full asking price (higher than what it was marketed before by the previous agent) and the finance was approved.

Waterpoint Purchase & Sale
I purchased this investment property through Donald and because of his relationship with the developer we managed to secure the property for $15000 less than the new upgraded price point. Donald assisted with the settlement and helped secure a rental agent to manage the property for me. All round great service and fantastic after sales service. We ultimately used Donalds services again to sell the property and achieved a fantastic result with the sale not only exceeding our expectations but he also managed to ensure that the settlement dates corresponded with our new purchase making the process stress free and effortless.

Windchimes Sale
We used Donald to sell our family home. We had already purchased our new home and we had very tight time frames to meet. With constant interest rate hikes the market had slowed dramatically especially at our selling price point, while properties around us were struggling to sell and those that did sell at prices that were disappointingly low the pressure was on. After less than 2 weeks we had 2 offers to consider and after agreeing to one the buyer dropped their offer and Donald persuaded us to not take what he called a low ball offer. For the next 2 weeks we were convinced that we should have taken the offer and had our friends and family saying we were crazy and questioning the process. It was a very stressful time but then we were again presented with multiple offers and we are very happy to say that the final selling price was $70 000 HIGHER than the offer we rejected and all the terms and conditions tied in perfectly with our new purchase. We were understandably thrilled with the result and would use Donald’s services again without hesitation.

Signature Purchase
I used Donald to help us purchase a development property in Broadbeach. We were out of the country when settlement occured and there were loads of issues around settlement. Donald did all of our pre settlement inspections, got photographs done for renting the property, assisted with the snag list and went well above and beyond for us.

We are super happy with the level of after sale service that I have received from him and Kelli, and the constant communications we received not only keeping us up to date and supplying comprehensive sales data, but always open and available to discuss concerns and strategies at any time we contacted them. I am really happy to have found him many years ago, and feel confident to continue to do business exclusively with him into the future, and have referred him to all my friends and family so far.

I used Donald to sell my apartment in the Sovereign building. My only regret with using Donald is that I didn’t use him from the start. He came highly recommended but seemed a little too confident about what he was saying and compared to other agents that I had spoken to his fee’s were higher and his appraisal value of my unit was lower.

The other agents talked a good game, told me what I wanted to hear and promised the world but sadly delivered nothing. They didn’t know the building and the net result of that was I was given offers that never went anywhere and then got zero communication from them after that.

After using 2 useless agents I contacted Donald who had been respectful throughout the whole process and listed the property with him. The feedback and communication throughout was excellent, he secured an offer for me from a buyer in Melbourne and then kept me in the loop the entire way through the process, even while I was away overseas. He even collected the buyers at the airport and took them through the unit when they came up to inspect the property.

It was a fantastic result and I’m thankful for his tenacious attitude – if only I had used him in the beginning I would have achieved a better result as the timing in the market was far better when I first listed. However, having said that he achieved $25 000 more for my unit than the agent that I bought through achieved for a near identical unit on the same floor in the same market.

You get what you pay for and in retrospect his fee’s were cheaper than anyone else.

I loved the fact that Donald was open and upfront about the properties potential AND restrictions and was so impressed with everything that I saw that I ended up buying a unit at the same time. Before we met Donald, we have spoken to a number of real estate agents who don’t believe in the value of our property. All they want is to get our listing and sell it at the so called market value without taking into consideration what we have done to the property i.e. fully renovated, styled and fully furnished. Our property achieved more than 50% in rental yield in compare to other property in the same block. However, we were valued closely to those un-renovated properties by other agents, just because we are in the same block of unit.

Until I spoke to Donald, in our first meeting, I know Donald is the real deal. Donald didn’t just proposed a high valuation, but he supported his estimate with an understandable and logical argument.

I wanted to sell my property interstate but my leasing agent was advising me against it, saying the market was stale, more likely to pick up in 6 months, and advised me to re-let my property. At the same time I received Donald’s flyer in the mail. I called Donald and had a long chat with him. His perspective on the market was the complete opposite from the leasing agent. He was confident he could sell my property in a couple of months at a price within the range I was happy with. I admit I was a little dubious (because of my leasing agent) but I had a good feeling about Donald so gave him the benefit of the doubt.

From the start Donald and Kelli’s professionalism and dedication to selling my property was second to none. They were very considerate and respectful with my tenant making the process less stressful for her, and she in turn was very helpful and made a big effort to present the property well for home opens.
