About Tara Bedford

With nearly two decades of experience across Queensland’s real estate industry, Tara Bedford brings a wealth of knowledge, strong negotiation skills and a genuine, down to earth approach to every property transaction.

Beginning her career in 2007, Tara built her foundations across administration, leasing and property management before transitioning into residential sales in 2021. This broad experience has given her an understanding of property that extends well beyond the sales process, from investment and property management through to development, off-the-plan sales and the many moving parts involved in bringing a property to market.

Now, Tara has taken the next step in her career, launching Tara Bedford & Co in collaboration with @realty. The partnership allows Tara to offer the personal service and flexibility of her own business while being backed by the systems, technology, marketing resources and national network of an established real estate brand.

Having worked across the Gold Coast, Gladstone and now Bundaberg, Tara understands that no two properties, markets or clients are the same. She believes great real estate is about listening, adapting and creating a strategy that suits the individual property and the people behind it, rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach.

Known for her clear communication, ability to think on her feet and genuine care for people, Tara’s goal is simple: to make the selling experience feel straightforward, well-managed and as stress-free as possible, while always working towards the best possible outcome for her clients.

Outside of real estate, Tara enjoys dancing, beach days, socialising and spending time outdoors & getting involved within the community as much as possible. She’s approachable, energetic and very much a people person bringing qualities that naturally carry through to the way she does business.

Experienced. Approachable. Adaptable. And always in your corner. Your friend in Real Estate!

WHAT CAN I SAY!

Tara went way beyond her duties to ensure everything went smoothly in selling our house. Her professional manner and knowledge of procedures was a great help to us after we had been dealing with other agents that left us in a pickle. We highly recommend Tara without hesitation to buy or sell your house and you definitely won’t be disappointed. 10 stars would be more appropriate!

Margaret & Ross - Sellers

EXTREMELY GOOD

Tara was professional, friendly and only too willing to answer any questions that arose from first inspection to completion of sale. A pleasure to deal with.

Brent Tyler - Buyer

Friendly knowledgeable efficient service

Tara was the agent handling the sale of the Unit I purchased, she was very friendly helpful and knowledgeable regarding the unit in question. If she didn’t already know the answer she was able to find it for me in a very timely manner. I was very stressed trying to find a place to purchase as I had sold my home and time was running out, Tara was really helpful in reducing that stress with her calm attitude and guidance. Even on the final walk through she was still going the extra yard to get everything across the line to make my move easier. I wholeheartedly recommend Tara if you are thinking of buying or selling a property here in Bundaberg.

Jenny - Buyer

Went above and beyond

Even though we just worked with Tara briefly, she was really helpful and friendly and went out of her way to support us. Thanks Tara and hope we have the opportunity to work again in the future!

We were so lucky to have Tara as our agent. As out of town sellers, Tara went above and beyond to help us with lots of the finer details and lots of problem solving. It could not have been a smoother or easier process for us and we were very happy with the sale price. We trusted Tara’s experience and expertise for the marketing and presentation and we are so glad we did. Just say “Yes Tara” for the smoothest sale ever! You will be in safe hands. Tara is honest, friendly and very, very professional in her work and communication. Thank you so much Tara Bedford.

Excellent

We live on the Sunshine Coast and communication was done over the phone. Tara kept the things simple for us but we were very clear on the process of buying our land. She showed us patience and professionalism during the electronic signing of documents as we are older and not tech savvy.
Tara was always contactable and very friendly.
She done a fantastic job we were lucky to have her as our agent.

Tara is the best real estate agent in Bundaberg. We recently sold our home and had a fantastic experience working with Tara. We needed a quick sale, so timing was really important – and Tara absolutely delivered. From the outset, she understood our situation and put together a strategy that worked. Within just a week, we had multiple offers and went to contract, achieving a price we were really happy with. Tara went above and beyond to support us through the entire process. She was always available with advice, kept us informed every step of the way, and genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for us. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Leanne - Buyer

Amazing lady, not only sold my property, but also helped me freely with purchasing simultaneously

Tara is amazing. You will be completely happy. If not, she will still go above and beyond to help. Love you Tara

Leona Cassin - Seller

Tara was extremely responsive to any questions I had and didn’t make me feel stupid when I had no idea about the processes involved in buying a house. She was off work sick on the day we were to meet at the house to put the sold sticker up but she still met me at the allotted time because she ‘knew how excited I was’. On settlement day Tara had left the most special thing outside my new home which I now have framed on my wall, something I wasn’t expecting but will treasure forever. I know Tara is embarking now in her own realestate business which I know will be successful because she is genuine, trustworthy and cares. Can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you Tara

Kim - Buyer

Very impressed with Tara’s service this last week. We had enquired about a property that was under contract. She promised to let us know if the contract fell through, which she did! Now you would think that all real estate agents would bother, but they don’t! Then when we needed a Saturday afternoon inspection, she was only too happy to oblige. Thanks Tara. Your efforts did not go unnoticed.

Desley Cowley - potential buyer
